Andaz Ahmad
I work as the Director of Instructional Technology at Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Prior to this, I worked at Washington State Community College as the Director of Distance Learning and Assistant Professor of Computer Systems Technology for about 4 years. I received a Master of Science degree in Information System/Management from University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics, Communication, and Computer Engineering from University of Bradford.
Before joining the academic sector, I spent six years in the corporate IT world, in London, England, where I worked as a systems analyst and project manager. I bring not only my academic preparation for teaching computer networking & programming to my virtual classroom, but also my work experience in managing networks and designing e-commerce web sites.
Bruce Bisbee
I have been working in information technology (IT) for over 20 years. I came into IT from the business side. My MBA is in the Management of Operations and Technology from Bryant University in Rhode Island.
I enjoy working with and learning about computer software and hardware and have pursued a number of IT certifications. My first was A+ certification for hardware and operating systems. I followed this up by earning the Master Instructor certification in Microsoft Office. Next, I became a Microsoft Certified Trainer by earning the Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician designation and CompTIA's Certified Technical Trainer CTT+ designation.
I also have a great job with a manufacturing company headquartered in Rhode Island. Our company produces machines that braid wire or textile. For example, our machines are a leading source of the aluminum shielding used in coax cable. Our braiding machines also are used in the manufacturing of rope, shoelaces, and medical sutures. One of the best parts is that I oversee IT operations not only in Rhode Island but also in Berlin, Milan, and Shanghai. As such, I enjoy some nice business trips and you may find yourself IM'ing me from many places around the world.
Scott Howell
I have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from St. Louis University and a MBA in E-Commerce from the University of Dallas. I have worked in software development for over 23 years at General Dynamics and Lockheed Martin in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. For many of the past 10 years, I have been involved with developing internal websites for the F2 program at Lockheed Martin. The F2 program is a joint project with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries of Nagoya, Japan. Lockheed and Mitsubishi are building an aircraft together for the Japanese Air Force.
Gordon Whitehead
I joined the Marines in 1982 and left the Marines in 1995 as a Captain to join Nike. My educational background: In 1989, I received a Bachelor of Arts from Oregon State University in Business with concentrations in Business Administration and Finance, and a Minor in Japanese. I held several positions at Nike including a final assignment as the Senior Manager of IT for the Americas Region. Other professional positions: Director of IT for Sequent Computers, Vice President for FB&B Consulting Group, Vice President of IT Operations for CorVel Corporation, and several entrepreneurial ventures. I received my MBA from University of Phoenix, and I am enrolled in a Doctor of Management program at George Fox University. The Doctor of Management program focuses on leadership development and organizational behavior.
