We prepare you for careers and certification
An online Information Technology associate’s degree will prepare you for positions in network support, software development and hardware maintenance. Our online college degree program also qualifies you to obtain a variety of IT certifications. Depending on the courses you take, you may be eligible for certification in Linux, Microsoft applications, A+, Cisco Network Administrator, and others. IT associate’s degree requirements
You will take core classes in topics such as:
- Microsoft Office
- Databases
- Web design
- Fundamentals of computer technology
- Network communications
- Windows client operating systems
In addition, you will take 30 credits of general education courses and at least 29 credits of IT electives in the areas of databases, networking, security and software development. We may be able to waive some of these requirements if you have current industry certification or other work or prior learning experience.
