Tuition at GU/MSB Online

Questions about paying for college?

The cost of your college education at Globe University/Minnesota School of Business (GU/MSB) will vary, depending on the number of credits you take and the nature of the classes. For example, graduate classes have a higher tuition rate than most undergraduate classes, whether online or on-campus. This variation makes it important to contact a representative who can help you calculate the true cost of your degree or diploma program. Call us at 877-609-8889 or send an e-mail for more information about tuition.

Financial aid

Scholarships and other forms of financial aid are available for eligible students. Some businesses and organizations encourage students to further their educations and will pay all or part of students’ tuition and fees. If you are working and are interested in advancing your career through an online college program, speak with your employer to find out if you are eligible for this benefit. Our students are able to participate in a variety of state and federal loan and grant programs.

Tuition cap

We cap tuition at 16 credits per quarter. This means that you will pay nothing for any credits above the 16 per quarter. Of course, you are still responsible for books, lab fees and supplies that additional credits generate.

Indirect expenses

People taking online classes may have lower transportation costs than students who enroll in on-campus classes. We calculate that the average student spends $90 per month on transportation. Online students can expect to spend less. If you live at home, you can expect to have expenses of at least $630 per month and $1275 if you live away from home.

International student tuition

Students who apply to GU/MSB online via the I-20 form will be required to pay their first quarter tuition before starting classes. They will be billed for books, fees and future tuition as these costs arise. International students must provide proof, such as a bank statement, of access to funds in excess of one year’s international tuition.

To find out more about tuition and fees for your online college program, contact GU/MSB at 877-609-8889 or send an e-mail to have your questions answered.
